Smt. Ashwini B Desai
is a post graduate in English Literature, pursuing Ph.D. in Culture
Studies on Media. She has a diverse professional background. She worked as teacher to
post graduate students teaching 20th century Literature and Commonwealth Literature.
Later she taught Business Communication to Management students at University
of Mysore and Corporate Culture and Communication to corporates at Infosys. She
has a stint as a researcher for an MHRD project on History of Indian Languages and
Literatures. Her areas of interest include Women Studies, Social Anthropology and
Political science.

Sri M. S. Chaitra
is an Ecologist currently working as Fellow, Development Foundation,
Bangalore. Chaitra's research currently involves understanding the crisis of biodiversity
and its impact on human society in human dominated degraded semi-arid tropics. Current research programmes also involve addressing issues related to Development
studies, politics of development environment conflict, post-development alternatives.
He has worked with University of Mysore, Utkal University, Tumkur University,
Wildlife Institute of India, CCMB-Hyderabad and Center for Ecological Sciences at
IISc. Other than the core areas mentioned, he has also contributed to education policy
and governance as the Director of Centre for Educational and Social Studies.

Sri Pradeep Pai. H
is an avid filmmaker using media for positive purposes and with a
passion towards changes in education and social domains. He is a social activist who
has widely travelled around India and has exposure to media management & analysis.
Presently the Creative Head and CEO of Sudhee Networks Pvt. Ltd. an e-media company,
Pradeep was the Chief Content Officer of "www.alwaysindian.com," a web-journal for
Indian Diaspora. Pradeep has over 100 e-media programmes to his credit with various
productions for Doordarshan National Channel, Jnan Darshan, University of Illinois,
ISRO, DRDO, various departments of Govt. of Karnataka, many corporates, several NGOs,
few R&D institutions and also some personalities.
